Highmoor Bell Tower
Wigton, Cumbria

Built during the industrial revolution by the Banks family, the Bell Tower was completed in 1887 and played tunes three times daily. The mansion has been converted into flats and the park a housing estate; however, the tower still stands proud. Other legacies left by the family are The Wigton Baths and the elgant sandstone Conservative Club, which is now the Kildare Hotel.
